Close Up Nature Photography Workshop ~ £140 per person

Each workshop is designed and operated by resident professional photographer Phil McDermott, whose passion and enthusiasm for the Isle of Mull, photography and the great outdoors are combined to provide a wealth of experience.

Digital Close up Nature Photography Workshop includes tuition, transport to and from the locations, packed lunch and workshop notes.

This workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn the basics of the fascinating subject of close up photography. We will look at equipment selection, locating our subject, composition, depth of field and focusing. We will also look at field craft as this plays such an important part in close up photography.

This is literally a ‘down to earth’ on-location workshop so suitable footwear and clothing are essential.

This workshop includes one months follow up email advice and a personal critique of your developing portfolio.

We will adopt a flexible approach to our photo locations and will be guided by the days weather. However, in the event of adverse weather we have a well equipped workroom available that will ensure a full day of tuition no matter what the weather.
